Police in Takoradi have arrested two individuals. They were found with a large amount of dried leaves that are thought to be marijuana.
The suspects have been identified as Kwabena Osei and Akua Afua. The arrests were made by the Ghana Police Service.
Officers conducted a search of the suspects' premises. During the search, they discovered packaging materials along with the suspected drugs.
The seized substances are currently undergoing testing to confirm their identity and quantity.
Authorities have stated that the investigation into the possession of illicit drugs is ongoing.
