Police in the Volta Region have arrested two people suspected of trying to smuggle drugs. The arrests were made at Hlefi, a community near the Togo border.
The two individuals have been identified as Isaac Amoako and Kwabena Ofori.
Authorities found 100 cartons of dried cannabis in their possession.
The suspects were apprehended during a routine patrol by the Volta Regional Police Command.
The cannabis was allegedly being transported to Togo.
