Police in the Northern Region have arrested two individuals. They were found with a significant amount of suspected cannabis.

The arrests occurred in Tamale during a routine police patrol.

Authorities seized fifteen kilograms of dried leaves. These are suspected to be cannabis, a prohibited substance.

The two individuals are now in police custody. Investigations into the source and intended destination of the drugs are ongoing.

The Northern Regional Police command confirmed the arrests and the seizure.
