Mankranso District Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested two men. They were found with 15 large sacks.

The sacks contained dried leaves. Police suspect the leaves are Indian hemp also known as marijuana.

The arrest happened in the Ashanti Region. Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact location within the district.

The two men are currently in police custody. They are assisting the police with their investigations.

The Ghana Police Service stated that the seized items will be tested to confirm their identity.
