Tema Regional Police have seized a large quantity of suspected drugs. The operation took place at Afienya.
Officers intercepted a truck carrying 5,039 compressed parcels. These are believed to be narcotic substances.
A suspect attempted to bribe the police. The bribe offered was GHc150,000. The suspect wanted the truck and its contents released.
Police rejected the bribe. They stated their commitment to fighting crime.
The seizure is part of ongoing anti-drug efforts by the Tema Regional Police Command.
