Police officers have stopped a large amount of suspected drugs at Kotoka International Airport.
The seizure involved about 500 kilograms of a substance believed to be illegal drugs.
These suspected narcotics were found hidden inside a cargo shipment.
The Ghana Police Service managed the interception of the illicit goods.
Further investigations are underway to determine the type of substance and to identify those involved.
