Police officers in the Eastern Region have seized a significant amount of dried cannabis. The operation took place in Koforidua.

The Eastern Regional Police Command conducted an intelligence-led raid on a location in Koforidua. During the operation, officers discovered approximately 25 sacks filled with dried cannabis.

The operation aimed to disrupt illegal drug activities in the area. The suspects believed to be involved fled the scene before police could apprehend them.

Authorities have secured the seized cannabis. Investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest the individuals who escaped.
