The Eastern Regional Police Command has seized a substantial amount of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp.

About 200 kilograms of the substance was discovered in Koforidua.

Police apprehended two individuals during the operation. Their identities have not been released.

The seizure represents a significant success for the police in their fight against illegal drugs in the region.
