Ghana Police Service officers stopped a truck in the Greater Accra Region. The truck was carrying more than 3,000 slabs of substances. These substances are suspected to be narcotics.
The interception happened on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This information was released in a police statement.
Following the seizure, two men were arrested. They are accused of trying to bribe police officers.
The bribe attempt was linked to the intercepted truck and its contents. Police are investigating the matter further.
The suspects remain in police custody. Charges are expected to be filed.
