Police in the Northern Region have arrested 112 individuals during operations aimed at tackling drug-related crimes.
The police focus included stopping drug dealing and illegal drug use, as well as prostitution.
Northern Regional Police Commander Wisdom Lavoe announced the arrests. He addressed reporters in Tamale about the police actions.
Commander Lavoe said that 55 of the arrested suspects have already appeared in court.
The remaining 57 individuals are still under ongoing police investigation.
These arrests are part of continued efforts to improve safety and security in the region.
