Police in Tamale have arrested a 35-year-old man. He was found with unregistered firearms.
The Northern Regional Police Command made the arrest. It happened during a routine police patrol in the city.
The suspect was stopped by officers on patrol.
Authorities say the firearms were not registered. It is against the law to possess such weapons without proper documentation.
The man is currently in police custody.
