Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested a man. He is accused of growing marijuana inside his rented room.
The arrest happened after authorities received information about the alleged activity.
A search of the room was conducted.
During the search, officers discovered several marijuana plants.
They also found dried leaves that are believed to be cannabis.
The man was taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
The seized items will be used as evidence.
