The Ghana Navy has successfully intercepted a canoe laden with a significant quantity of suspected Indian hemp near Ada. The operation led to the seizure of 37 sacks, each reportedly containing approximately 70 parcels of the illicit substance.

In addition to the suspected narcotics, naval personnel also recovered two gallons of fuel, five empty fuel containers, and an outboard motor from the intercepted vessel. The swift action by the Ghana Navy underscores ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking along the country's coastlines.
