Fishermen at James Town in Accra have apprehended two men. These men are suspected of being involved in the trafficking of illegal drugs.
The fishermen saw the suspects behaving in a way that raised their suspicion while at sea. They decided to take matters into their own hands.
The fishermen then handed the two individuals over to the marine police. This action took place on May 30, 2026.
The marine police have taken custody of the suspects for further questioning. An investigation into the alleged drug trafficking is now underway.
