A man with a previous conviction for drug trafficking has been arrested in Nigeria. The suspect is 34-year-old Dunu Bethel Ebubechukwu.

He was apprehended during a sting operation in Lagos. The operation took place at Article Market, opposite the Trade Fair Market in the Ojo area.

Police allege that Ebubechukwu had returned to drug dealing. He was reportedly using a new identity and posing as a businessman selling herbal tea.

Authorities found alleged cocaine hidden in packs of herbal tea. They also found cocaine concealed within phone chargers.

Ebubechukwu was previously convicted for cocaine trafficking. This arrest suggests a return to criminal activity.

The sting operation was conducted by Nigerian law enforcement officers.
