Customs officers at the Aflao border have seized a large amount of drugs. The drugs are reported to be of a type known locally as Nsaro.

The Ghana Revenue Authority Customs Division made the discovery during a routine inspection at the border crossing.

Officials reported that the seized drugs are suspected to be narcotics. The quantity is described as substantial, with an estimated value in the millions of cedis.

The specific street value of the confiscated Nsaro is still being calculated by authorities.

This action is part of ongoing efforts by customs to control the flow of illicit substances into the country.
