The Ghana Police Service in the Northern Region has arrested 112 suspects. These arrests are part of operations aimed at stopping drug peddling, drug use, and prostitution.
Northern Regional Police Commander Wisdom Lavoe announced these developments. He spoke to reporters in Tamale about the successful operations.
Out of the 112 arrested individuals, 55 have already appeared in court. This indicates swift action by the judicial system. The remaining 57 suspects are pending further legal action.
