According to a report by 3News the suspect allegedly stabbed his domestic partner multiple times during a heated confrontation on Tuesday afternoon. The victim was transported to a nearby medical facility where she was pronounced dead on arrival according to preliminary police observations.

Assisted by eyewitness accounts the police identified the suspect as the deceased woman's partner who has reportedly confessed to the act during initial interrogations. A report from Citi Newsroom indicates that the argument allegedly centered on suspicions of infidelity held by the suspect against the victim. Detectives at the scene recovered a sharp object believed to be the weapon used in the commission of the crime as stated in official police documentation.
