A man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for abusing his daughter. The Lawra Circuit Court handed down the sentence.
The 47-year-old man was found guilty of incest and threatening to kill the victim. The court heard that the abuse occurred over an extended period.
The victim is the biological daughter of the convicted man. She was 17 years old at the time of the abuse.
The court imposed a sentence of 20 years imprisonment with hard labour.
