A man has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service in Taifa, Accra. The suspect is 45 years old.
He is accused of physically assaulting his wife. The disagreement reportedly started over a phone call the wife received.
The injured woman was taken for medical treatment. She has since been discharged from the hospital.
The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the incident.
