The Ghana Police Service has apprehended a 34 year old man identified as the primary suspect in the death of his wife in Kasoa. According to an Adom Online report the incident took place in the early hours of Monday morning following a domestic altercation at the couple's home. The suspect is currently being held at the local police station while officers process the crime scene and gather evidence for the prosecution.

A report from Citi Newsroom indicates that neighbors heard a loud argument before the fatal event occurred. First responders arrived at the scene to find the victim with multiple stab wounds. Medical personnel later confirmed the woman dead upon arrival at a nearby healthcare facility. The police have not yet released the official identity of the deceased pending notification of her immediate family members.

Pulse Ghana reports that the suspect did not attempt to flee the scene and was taken into custody without significant resistance. Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Department are focusing on the weapon used and the history of the relationship between the two individuals.
