An elderly woman has been hospitalized following an alleged assault by her grandson. The woman, identified as 80-year-old Madam Adwoa Serwaa, was reportedly attacked at her home.
The incident is said to have taken place in a village near Koforidua. A dispute over family land is believed to be the cause of the confrontation.
Madam Serwaa was taken to a local medical facility for treatment. Her condition is currently being monitored.
Her grandson, Yaw Kojo, is reportedly involved in the incident. Police have been informed and an investigation into the matter is underway.
