Police apprehended a 23-year-old student, Nhyira Papa Kojo Egyir Hayford. The Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team of the Inspector-General of Police made the arrest.
He is accused of publishing obscene material online. This action is contrary to section 280 of the Criminal and Other Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
The arrest occurred recently. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
