Police have arrested a 23-year-old student. His name is Nhyira Papa Kojo Egyir Hayford. He was apprehended by the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team.
The team works under the Inspector-General of Police. They found intimate videos involving the suspect.
Mr. Hayford is accused of publishing obscene material on the internet. This is against the law.
He is alleged to have broken Section 280 of the Criminal and Other Offences Act, 1960 Act 29. This law covers obscene publications.
The Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team discovered the videos. They were able to link them to the student.
