Police in Accra have arrested 15 people. They are suspected of involvement in online scams, also known as sakawa.
The arrests happened early in the morning during a special operation. This was carried out by the Accra Regional Police Command.
Officers raided a location believed to be the base of the cybercrime group. Several laptops and mobile phones were taken as evidence.
The suspects are currently being held by the Ghana Police Service. Investigations into their alleged activities are ongoing.
