The arrest followed a report by Selasie Kwaku Anthonio, a 43-year-old Uber driver. He contacted the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team about a post on Snapchat.
The viral Snapchat post allegedly used Mr. Anthonio’s photograph. It also contained false information about him.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Police are investigating the exact nature of the false publication.
