The cybercrime unit of the Ghana Police Service has arrested several people for online fraud. These individuals are accused of engaging in illegal internet activities.

Authorities conducted a sting operation that resulted in the arrests. The operation took place recently.

During the operation, police confiscated more than 100 SIM cards. Various electronic devices believed to be used for the fraud were also seized.

The suspects are currently in police custody. They are being interrogated to gather more information about their operations.
