A pastor has been arrested in Cape Coast for serious crimes involving a child. The Ghana Police Service, working with the Cyber Security Authority and National Security Authority, made the arrest.
The man is accused of defilement. He is also accused of producing and possessing child sexual abuse material.
The operation took place in Cape Coast, which is in the Central Region. This was early on the morning of March 6, 2026.
The arrest was the result of a joint intelligence-led operation. Officials are continuing their work.
