The Volta Regional Police Command conducted an operation in Ho that led to the arrest of five teenagers suspected of operating an organized cybercrime ring. According to a report by 3News, the suspects are students aged between 17 and 19 who were allegedly using a private residence as a base for internet fraud activities.

Official details from the Ghana Police Service through regional representatives indicate that officers moved on the property following intelligence reports regarding suspicious activities. During the raid, security personnel confiscated various electronic items including laptops and multiple mobile phones which are believed to be tools used in the alleged scams.
