The Cybersecurity Authority (CSA) has launched National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Director-General Devine Selase Agbeti stressed the need for stronger teamwork to protect Ghana's digital finance system.
He called on financial institutions, telecommunications companies, fintech businesses, government agencies, and the public to work together. This collaboration is vital to defend against cybercriminals.
Mr Agbeti stated that the government cannot win the fight against cybercrime by itself. He emphasized that working with all stakeholders is essential for success.
Ghana's digital finance ecosystem is expanding rapidly. This growth presents opportunities but also increases vulnerability to cyber threats.
The CSA aims to raise public awareness about cybersecurity during the month-long campaign.
Protecting digital assets and personal information online is a shared responsibility.
