The Criminal Investigations Department has arrested eleven people in Tema. This happened after an operation in Fafa Community.
Police investigations revealed that two people were thought to be victims of human trafficking. However, authorities now believe these two individuals were actually running a cybercrime group.
The two suspects are Godstine Terry, aged 34, and Wilson Makuo, aged 21. They are accused of being coordinators of the criminal syndicate.
The police conducted an intelligence-led operation. This led to the arrests of the eleven suspects.
The operation focused on uncovering cybercrime activities in the area.
