Authorities have apprehended a 49-year-old woman, identified as Rita Konadu, also known as “Mamaone” and active on TikTok as the_onlymamaone1, in Juaben, Ashanti Region. The arrest is reportedly linked to alleged offensive and derogatory remarks made against former President John Dramani Mahama.
The Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team (CVET) carried out the operation. The specific nature of the alleged remarks and the context surrounding them are currently under investigation. The suspect is expected to undergo further questioning as authorities gather more information.
