A political party official has urged the government to fix the ongoing problems in the cocoa sector.

Mr. Richard Ahiagbah, communications director for the New Patriotic Party, made the call on Friday.

He said the government should not continue to blame the previous administration for the challenges.

Mr. Ahiagbah highlighted that the government has been in power for fourteen months.

He stated this period is enough time to address the issues affecting cocoa production.

The official stressed that the focus should now be on finding solutions.

He believes the government can resolve the crisis without further references to past administrations.
