The Tema Regional Police Command has alerted the public about potential trouble during the Homowo Festival. They have warned that lawbreakers will be dealt with severely.
Police stated that acts of violence or anything that disturbs the peace will not be tolerated. This warning comes ahead of the Homowo celebrations in Tema.
Individuals involved in ongoing disputes were specifically cautioned. This includes those engaged in chieftaincy disagreements and landguard activities.
Student-related conflicts were also mentioned as a concern. The police do not want the festival to be used as an excuse for trouble.
The command emphasized that they will enforce the law strictly to ensure a peaceful celebration for everyone.
