The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Osman Ayariga, has requested that digital influencer Wode Maya help promote an anti-drug abuse campaign. This happened during the opening of the 2026 International Youth Empowerment Summit.

The campaign is named RED MEANS STOP. Its main goal is to stop young people from using illegal drugs.

Mr. Ayariga believes Wode Maya's influence can reach many young Ghanaians. He wants the influencer to become an ambassador for the campaign.

The NYA CEO stated that Wode Maya's involvement would greatly help spread the message about the risks of drug abuse.

This initiative by the National Youth Authority highlights concerns about drug use among the youth in Ghana.

The RED MEANS STOP campaign seeks to provide education and awareness to prevent young people from falling into drug addiction.
