MTN Ghana has started a new way for customers to replace their SIM cards. This new service is called a self-service SIM swap platform.

Customers can now get a new SIM card if their old one is lost, broken, or stolen. They do not need to go to a MTN office for this.

The platform was launched in Tamale. Tamale is the capital city of the Northern Region.

The launch event happened at the MTN offices in Tishigu. This took place on March 11, 2026.

This new system is meant to make things easier for people. It will help cut down on the number of people waiting in lines.

Customers can use this platform to quickly get a working SIM card back.

This move by MTN Ghana is a step towards making customer service more convenient.
