MTN Ghana customers in the Northern Region can now replace lost or damaged SIM cards themselves. This new self-service platform means they do not need to visit an MTN office.
The service was officially launched in Tamale. This is the capital city of the Northern Region.
The launch event took place at the MTN offices located in Tishigu. The date was March 11, 2026.
This makes it easier for customers to get a new SIM card quickly. It also helps to reduce long waiting lines at MTN shops.
Customers can perform the SIM swap process independently. This provides a more convenient option for users.
