MTN Ghana has launched a new way for customers to swap their SIM cards. People can now do this themselves without going to an MTN shop.
This new platform was introduced in Tamale, the main city of the Northern Region. The launch event happened on March 11, 2026, at the MTN offices in Tishigu.
Customers who have lost their SIM cards, or if their SIM card is damaged or stolen, can use this service. They can replace it easily. This is an initiative by MTN Ghana to make things simpler for their customers.
The goal is to make it faster for customers to get a new SIM card working.
This change means less time spent in queues. It gives customers more control over replacing their SIM cards.
