Ghana must improve its systems to prevent corruption, according to private legal practitioner Alex Gyamfi.
He stated that fighting corruption should involve stopping it before state resources are lost.
Gyamfi called for stronger administrative controls and better monitoring systems.
He also emphasized the need for improved internal auditing mechanisms.
These measures would help prevent corruption cases from reaching the criminal courts.
Gyamfi made these remarks during a discussion on the Asaase Breakfast program.
