Residents of Konongo who lost their homes to a recent fire have been strongly advised not to rebuild on the affected site.
The Municipal Chief Executive for the Asante Akyem Central Municipality, Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo, issued this caution.
His warning follows a fire incident that happened on Saturday evening.
The blaze affected structures located along the railway line.
Several wooden buildings were destroyed in the fire.
Named official Aidoo cited safety concerns as the primary reason for his advice.
He stressed the importance of preventing future risks to the community.
Further investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted by the National Fire Service.
