Groups in Kenyasi are worried about the rise in crime. They believe that police officers who have stayed in the community for a very long time might not be as effective.

Frank Kofi Adusei, who leads the Omanbotantim Association, spoke about this issue. He said some officers have been in Kenyasi for more than an unspecified period.

The community groups are urging the Ghana Police Service to move these officers. They hope that bringing in new police personnel will help improve safety and law enforcement.

This request comes as residents report an increase in criminal activities in the Kenyasi area.

The groups believe a change in police personnel could bring fresh perspectives and strategies to combat the growing crime problem.
