A national expert on international relations has called on the Ghanaian government. He urged them to actively help Burkina Faso. This aid would be for fighting terrorism.

Ishmael Hlovor stated that ignoring the issue could endanger Ghanaian citizens. He highlighted the cross-border nature of security threats. Collaborating with neighboring countries is very important.

Mr Hlovor stressed that regional stability affects Ghana's own security. A stable Burkina Faso would reduce risks for Ghana. He suggested sharing intelligence and resources.

He believes such cooperation would build stronger alliances in the sub-region. This would better protect all countries from terror groups. The government has been asked to consider these recommendations.
