The Ghana Education Service GES has issued a warning to all teachers across the country. The service noted that some teachers are breaking rules.
These teachers, particularly newly recruited ones, have been going to the GES Headquarters. They have also been talking to media outlets without getting approval.
This practice is happening during official school working hours. The GES stated that this bypasses the normal procedures for communication and visits.
All teaching staff must now follow the correct channels. They need to get permission before visiting headquarters or engaging with the media.
The GES introduced this measure to maintain order and ensure that communication follows established protocols.
Teachers are expected to focus on their duties in schools. Unauthorized visits and media engagements are now officially discouraged.
