The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has opened a new premium service centre. This centre is located in Bantama, Kumasi.
An official statement said the new centre will bring DVLA services closer to the people. It also aims to reduce the work of middlemen, often called "goro boys".
Julius Neequaye Kotey, the Chief Executive of the DVLA, spoke at the opening ceremony. He stated that the centre will improve access to the Authority's services.
This move is part of the DVLA's effort to enhance customer experience. It also seeks to streamline its operations.
The centre will provide various services, making it more convenient for vehicle owners and drivers. This includes vehicle registration and license renewals.
The establishment of the Bantama centre is expected to serve a large population in Kumasi. It will help ensure more efficient service delivery.
