Community groups in Kenyasi, Ahafo Region, are calling for the transfer of police officers who have stayed in the area for a long time.
They believe that changing the officers will improve how the police handle crime in the community.
Frank Kofi Adusei, who leads the Omanbotantim Association, spoke about the issue. He stated that some police officers have been stationed in Kenyasi for more than the usual amount of time.
The groups argue that this situation may be making it harder to tackle the increase in crime.
This request aims to boost law enforcement effectiveness in Kenyasi.
The Ghana Police Service has not yet commented on the request.
