The Asunafo North Municipal Assembly in the Ahafo Region is taking legal action against people who litter and dump waste. This is a new effort to stop people from throwing trash everywhere.
Several sanitation offenders have been sent to court. They will appear next week in Goaso.
The assembly hopes this will make people think twice before they litter.
This action aims to clean up the municipality.
