Ashanti ECG thanks REGSEC for ending conductor theft

Ing Kofi Adjabeng is the Ashanti South Regional General Manager for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

He stated that the Ashanti Regional Security Council (REGSEC) played a key role.

Their work helped stop the stealing of electricity cables in the Ashanti South Region.

Mr. Adjabeng said fewer thefts have led to big improvements.

Electricity supply to residents and businesses is now more reliable, according to the ECG manager.

The protection of power infrastructure by security forces has been effective.
