Hon. Benjamin Marfo, the District Chief Executive for Amansie South, has issued a strong warning to illegal miners. They are operating on the recently repaired Akwasiso-Koninase road.
Marfo stated that these miners must stop their activities immediately. He warned that failure to comply will result in arrest.
The DCE highlighted the significant investment made by the government and Asanko Gold Ghana. This investment was used to rehabilitate the road, which was previously in very bad condition.
The Amansie South Assembly will not permit the destruction of this vital infrastructure. Marfo emphasized the importance of preserving the road for public use.
