The Health Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has revealed a new strategy for funding government health projects. He stated that the Agenda 111 projects will now be completed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
This partnership model seeks to gather the necessary funds for all health infrastructure projects across Ghana. The Minister made this statement during an official visit.
He was paying a courtesy call on the Provost and Faculty of the College of Health Sciences. The College is located at Korle Bu.
The move aims to ensure the timely completion of the many health facilities. These facilities are intended to improve healthcare access nationwide.
The government's plan is to involve private entities in the development and completion of these critical health infrastructure projects. This partnership is expected to speed up the construction process.
