A court in Accra has told Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Wontumi, that he must now present his defense. He is on trial for allowing two people to mine on his land.
The problem is that he is accused of doing this without getting approval from the government.
The judge who is hearing the case made the decision. This happened after the judge considered the evidence brought forward by the prosecution.
The case involves mining activities on a concession belonging to Mr. Antwi Boasiako.
The court's order means the trial will continue with the defense presenting their side.
